The Marching Rebel Pride captured second place in Class 2A at the Alabama Marching Championship.

At an Auburn football game, you might catch a glimpse of familiar faces on the field during the halftime performance. 

Pastor Andy Kinman said he knows music can be a powerful part of people’s faith and now after years of prayer, Bethel Baptist Church has a full band as part of their worship.

During the Music Performance Assessment, Horseshoe Bend School concert band received superior ratings across the board. 

Before COVID, Benjamin Russell band had 140 members and after two years of a pandemic the band is roughly 80 members. However, the band director reported this is the closest to a normal year they have seen in a while.  

Four schools in Tallapoosa County will have marching bands performing one after the other Thursday.
