For 40 years the Florida Gang has gathered at various campgrounds enjoying good friends and good times. For the last three decades the clan has taken to the waters of Lake Martin and Wind Creek State Park for a 'gypsy' like reunion every spring break.
The Broken L Farm Wagon train travels Main Street in Camp Hill on Sunday afternoon. The wagon train started in Rock Mills on Friday and made its way to Montgomery. Normally it would go to the rodeo at Garrett Coliseum but the rodeo was cancelled due to coronavirus.
The Lake Martin Area United Way held a celebration Tuesday night celebrating it more than met its campaign goal for the year. It also gave out awards to local volunteers and businesses that have helped the organization.

Dadeville Elementary School held its second annual chili cookoff Thursday. Amanda Williams won the community division, the kindergarten class won the school division while the fifth grade won most festive table.
