File / TPI Central Coosa has had a full offseason under its belt getting stronger and faster in Year 2 under Daniel Flowers.

The Central Coosa football team had its fair share of ups and downs last year. For the majority of last summer, it was without a head coach until Daniel Flowers stepped in to fill the void. Even with little time to prepare, the Cougars went into the season at full force. They showed glimpses of something special, but the lack of an offseason proved to be detrimental. The team ended the year with a 1-9 record, snapping its 17-game region losing streak with a 28-21 victory over Lanett.
