Strong storms are possible from mid-day Friday until the early morning hours of Saturday.

Tornado warned storms in Tallapoosa County first dropped two tornadoes in Elmore County, National Weather Service survey teams confirmed Saturday.

An active weather system will bring rain and the chance of strong to severe storms to Alabama Wednesday afternoon.
