PUBLIC NOTICE CLOSE-OUT PUBLIC HEARING The Tallapoosa County Commission is in the process of closing their FY 2020 Cares Act - CV Grant (Project No.: CV-NC-20-045) Project. With the funding received from this grant the Tallapoosa County Commission purchased a pandemic response trailer, a truck to haul the trailer for the Tallapoosa County EMA and purchased an ambulance for Alexander City Fire and EMS to improve ambulance service within the county in the event of future pandemic and to replace an ambulance that was over utilized during the pandemic. As part of the close-out procedures the county will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Tallapoosa County Courthouse in the Commission Chambers to discuss the close-out of this project and accept citizen input concerning the close-out of this project.
