PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF ACTION TO QUIET TITLE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to any and all persons that there is presently filed and pending in the Circuit Court for Tallapoosa County Alabama , case number CV 19-39, an action by Larry W. Whitfield and wife, Nancy G. Whitfield vs. Lake Martin Office Supply Company, et als to quiet and settle their title to the following described property: South half of Lot 4 and South half of Lot 3 less 2.3 feet across the south side thereof; and that part of the North half of Lot 3 lying south of and adjoining the south wall of the two-story brick building known as the old Pugh Building and presently (1996) occupied by Sharpe & Reynolds, Attorneys; all in Block 30 of Broadnax Survey of the Town of Dadeville according to the map recorded in Deed Book 4, page 558. Together with all improvements and appurtenances thereon situated and thereunto belonging, including the brick store building situated thereon which was occupied by and known as the old G. A. Veazey store building; and together with all our right, title and interest in and to the party walls on the north with the old Pugh Building, and on the south with the old Langley Furniture Company building; and SUBJECT to the easement heretofore reserved to the owners of the said Pugh Building for the purpose of ingress and egress via the stairway adjoining said Pugh Building to the upper story of the Pugh Building. The above described property is bounded on the north by the said Pugh Building property, and on the south by the building and lot formerly occupied by Langley Furniture Company, on the west by Broadnax Street and on the east by Bryan Street. The improvements thereon bear the street address 128 N. Broadnax Street, Dadeville, Alabama. Lake Martin Office Supply Company, its successors and assigns, and all present or former owner(s) of Lake Martin Office Supply Company, whose whereabouts are unknown, and their heirs or devisees, if deceased, who have not voluntarily conveyed their interest in the subject property to Petitioners or Petitioners' ancestors in title, and may now purport to have any claim of title to the subject property, and any person who claims, or is reputed to claim, some right, title or interest in, or encumbrance upon, the subject property, must appear and answer this action within 30 days of the perfection of this publication under penalty of default and judgment being rendered against him.
