Horseshoe Bend National Military Park invites the public to attend its annual symposium at Caroline Marshall Draughon for the Arts & Humanities (also known as Pebble Hill) in Auburn.

The event is free and will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.

This year’s symposium will focus on Alabama’s earliest historians and their insights into Creek Indian history, the Creek war and the Battle of Horseshoe Bend.
