Vehicle flips in 3-vehicle crash

No one appeared to be seriously injured in a three-car crash at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Coven Abbett Highway Friday about 5 p.m.
According to witnesses on the scene, a white Chevrolet Tahoe was crossing U.S. 280 when it collided with a black Kia traveling westbound. The two vehicles then struck a Chevrolet Blazer that was stopped at a stop sign.
Alexander City police, fire and rescue responded to the crash. It was raining at the time of the crash.
Officials on the scene did not comment on the conditions of the victims.
