Engagement: Baker and Mayfield
Steve and Jean Baker of Equality announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Kay of Gulf Shores, to Michael McLeod Mayfield of Bayou La Batre, son of Kathie Moseley and the late Edward Lane Mayfield of Bayou La Batre.
Miss Baker is the granddaughter of John and Bobbie Penton of Equality and Liz Baker and the late Henry Baker of Alexander City. She is a 2004 graduate of Central High School in Coosa County and a 2009 graduate of Faulkner State Gulf Coast Culinary Institute in Gulf Shores with a hospitality degree concentrating in pastry and baking. Mallory is currently employed with Cobalt Restaurant at Caribe Resort in Orange Beach.
Mr. Mayfield is the grandson of the late Willard and Katherine Dahlberg of Chickasaw and the late Ben and Mary Mayfield of Bayou La Batre. He is a 1999 graduate of Alma Bryant High School in Mobile County and a 2003 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration concentrating in management information systems. Michael is currently employed as a unit manager of Waffle House in Foley.
The wedding will be an event of October 3, 2009, at Bethesda Baptist Church in Equality.
Engagement: Lowery and Boyer
Dr. and Mrs. Skip Lowery of Alexander City announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordyn Noelle Lowery to Randall Kevin Boyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Paul Boyer.
Miss Lowery is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Greer of Dadeville, AL and Mr. and Mrs. Walter O. Lowery Sr. of Destin, FL. She is a 2007 graduate of EFCA High School and also a graduate of the Central Alabama Community College, is now pursuing a degree in nursing.
Mr. Boyer is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Andrews of Tallassee and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Boyer of Prattville. He is a 2004 graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School and is presently pursing a degree in computer networking.
The wedding will be an event on July 25, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Alexander City. Dr. Gerald Hallmark and Dr. Steve King will be officiating. All family and friends are invited to attend.
