Lady ‘Cats pounce WHS

The Benjamin Russell Lady Wildcats cruised past Wetumpka on the pitch, prevailing 5-0 on the strength of a huge first half.
Karena Naranjo started the scoring off for the Wildcats’, who dominated ball and field positioning for much of the first half.
Ruth Anne Ballard also found the twine for the Lady ‘Cats, and Payton Rye ended a three-goal half when she rocketed a shot into the net with less than five seconds left in the half.
Courtney Crouch increased the Lady Wildcats’ lead in the second half, and BRHS added one more goal to cap the scoring.
