Trojans fall at So. Union

The Central Alabama Trojans weren’t able to gain much traction versus Southern Union, as the Bison took down the Trojans 7-4 and 6-1.
In game one, CACC had fallen behind 4-0 at the end of the third inning, as starter John Michael Knighton was roughed up for eight hits and four runs in less than three innings pitched. The Trojans didn’t score into the sixth inning.
Kyler Deese and Jalin Lawson each had two RBIs for CACC.
In game two, the Trojans fell be hind early again. Their offense couldn’t make up the difference, as CACC was held to three hits.
Chase Domino was 2-for-3 with the team’s lone RBI in the second game. CACC will try to get back on the winning side of things at Marion Military Institute today at 1 p.m.
