Lady Tigers to Hornets 6-0

Published 7:59pm Wednesday, April 9, 2014

It was a quiet night at the plate for the Dadeville Lady Tigers this past Tuesday, as DHS only mustered one hit in a 6-0 shutout loss to the Class 4A No. 10 Beauregard Hornets.
With the setback, Dadeville now stands at 9-14 and is still searching for its first area win (0-4 in area play).
Dadeville was held hitless through the first six innings, before Kristen Tolbert picked up a double with one out in the top of the seventh.
DHS loaded the bases in the top of the first thanks to an error and drawing two walks but were unable to get any runners across home plate.
The Lady Tigers struck out 10 times as a team over the course of the game.
