State candidates included Stan Cooke, running for Lt. Governor, both John Merrill and Reese McKinney who are candidates for Secretary of State, Clyde Chambliss, a candidate for the Dist. 30 Senate seat, Andy Carter, running for state senator, Dist. 27 and Thomas Casson who is running for U.S. Congress Dist. 3.
