Funeral Services for Mr. Houston “Donnie” Henderson, age 65, of Kellyton, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Bass Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. John Watkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Kellyton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Bass Funeral Home.

Mr. Henderson passed away on April 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Etowah County on March 8, 1949 to Houston R. Henderson and Rachel Andrews Henderson.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen Henderson; one daughter, Denise (Jerry) Bice of Ragland; one step-daughter, Stacy McDonald of Pinson; two step-sons, Dale Beasley of Cropwell and Shane Matthews of Mt. Olive; one brother, George Henderson; two sisters, Patsy Cole and Elaine Thompson; seven grandchildren, Jessica Whetstone, Edward Lee Harrell, Justin Beasley, Joseph Beasley, Cameron McDonald, Dayton McDonald, and Khloe Matthews; five great grandchildren; Tyler Gage Whetstone, Mallorie Skye Bice, Serrena Moss, Noah Moss, and Justin Royce Beasley; aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, two sisters in law, and one brother in law.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Houston R. Henderson and Rachel Andrews Henderson and two brothers, Billy Ray Henderson and Duck Henderson.
