Lady ‘Cats maul Marbury

It was out of hand within the first five minutes.
At that point in the Class 5A No. 4 Benjamin Russell Lady Wildcats’ sectional match with Marbury, BRHS was up 3-0.
While the team’s pace slowed a bit during the course of the contest, the scoring did not, as the Lady Wildcats eventually prevailed 10-0 to remain atop the area standings.
Several Wildcats found the back of the net during the match, as BRHS had a commanding 6-0 lead at the half.
With things firmly under their control, the Lady Wildcats put it away thanks to Daly Wagoner and Alexis Goldhagen.
Wagoner scored twice in a 17-minute span during the second half, while Goldhagen’s shot at the 47th minute made the game 7-0.
Marley McAllister’s goal at the 68th minute brought the game to an end.
McAllister scored twice during the course of the abbreviated contest.
Bethany Miller, Sydney Pemberton and Allyson Parmer also put the ball in the twine during the match.
