BRHS golfers defeat Shelby Co., 196-203

The Benjamin Russell Wildcats improved to 3-2 on the links with a 196-203 victory over Shelby County at Willow Point this past Tuesday.
Michael Blake, Collin Sharpe, Stewart Ward, Cade McKeever, Cole Ballard, and Darrell Huntley teamed up to defeat Shelby County.
BRHS golf coach Wes Tate said he was pleased with the win but felt the team could only get better.
“We played OK, but we still have a lot of work to do,” Tate said.
The Lady Wildcats team, consisting of Hayden Scales, McKenzie Chapman, Hannah Sharpe, Emily Kerley, Katie Royster, and Ann Marie Wendling, followed suit with a victory over Shelby County as well.
The girls are now 4-0 on the season.
BRHS returns to the links today when they play at Central of Clay County.
