Mrs. Eloise Wright

Funeral service for Mrs. Eloise Wright, 86, of Dadeville, will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Clyde Coker and Rev. Brandon Keel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wright passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at her residence. She was born on September 27, 1927 in Elder Community, Alabama to Clifton Jefferson Coker and Willie Velma Patterson Coker. She was an active member of Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright was an excellent cook and made the best biscuits. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play ball and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Wright was a good Christian woman who loved the Lord and will be missed dearly by her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Wright Rainwater (Joe) of Alexander City and Susan Wright Harper (Clinton) of Dadeville; son, Marcus Lamar Wright, Jr. (Marquita) of Jacksons Gap; grandchildren, Donnie Harper (Kelly), Allan Harper (Ilham), Haley Pearson (Jason), Anna Motes (Marcus), Allison Wright, and Brennon Wright; great-grandchildren, Jackson Gourtney, Collin Pearson, Harper Motes, Trent Harper, and Marleigh Harper; sisters, Eva Baker of Dadeville and Floye Partridge of Eagle Creek; and brothers, Robert Coker of New Site, Marvin Coker (Brenda) of Dadeville, and Clyde Coker (Shirley) of Alexander City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Lamar Wright; her parents; and brother, Reuben Coker.
