2013 All-State Football Team

Representatives from Benjamin Russell, Dadeville and Reeltown among those honored by ASWA

Dadeville QB C.J. Tolbert was named to the Class 4A All-State team after a dominant year as a dual-threat out of the backfield. Tolbert threw for more than 1,100 yards, ran for more than 1,500 yards and accounted for 41 total touchdowns while leading Dadeville to a 11-2 record and a berth in the quarterfinals of the Class 4A playoffs.
Dadeville DE Anfernee Jennings was named to the Class 4A All-State team for the second season in a row. Jennings improved in every statisticial category from his sophomore season, tallying 171 tackles, eight sacks and 43 QB hurries.
Dadeville LB Tamarcus Russell earned a Class 4A All-State nod after leading all 4A players in tackles (209).
Benjamin Russell safety Tyrik Norris was an Honorable Mention selection to the Class 5A All-State team after accumulating 40 total tackles and five interceptions.
Teammate and BRHS defensive tackle Tae Robinson was also an Honorable Mention selection to the Class 5A All-State team.
Reeltown offensive lineman Blake Baker earned an Honorable Mention selection to the Class 2A All-State team. Baker helped pave the way for Reeltown RBs and All-Outlook performers Ariko Stewart and Cody Martin.
Reeltown DB Devonte Ferrell was named an Honorable Mention to the Class 2A All-State team.
