Funeral service for James Robert Vinson, 44, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Donald DeLee and Rev. Mike Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the Alexander City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Vinson passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on February 10, 1969 in Randolph County, Alabama to Danny Richard Vinson and Becky Ann Garrett Vinson. He was an active member of West End Baptist Church.  Mr. Vinson loved spending time with his family. He especially loved spending time with his father, nieces and nephews. Mr. Vinson had one true love, Tifany Soule’.  Mr. Vinson was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
His favorite television shows were on the History channel and Discovery ID channel. He also enjoyed forensic shows. Mr. Vinson enjoyed playing jokes on people and loved the family dog, Ricco.
He is survived by his mother, Becky Ann Garrett Vinson of Alexander City; father, Danny Richard Vinson of Alexander City; sisters, Tammy Teresa Smith and Carla Faye Hill, both of Alexander City; brother, Danny Ray Vinson (Tracey), of Alexander City; nieces, Amber Vinson, Brittany Smith, Shelby Vinson, Kimber Hill, and Mackenzie Smith, all of Alexander City; great niece, Madison Jones of Alexander City and great-nephew, Brayden Carver of Alexander City.
