A great fitness guru

Published 11:31pm Friday, November 1, 2013

Dear Editor,
A few weeks ago I was approached by a ‘fitness guru’ that was rather blunt with me about my physique.
“You need toning,” she said.
The brutal truth sometimes hurts!
You have to understand, first of all, that she was not being rude or abrasive.
You see, she is like a sister to me (Although I think I am old enough to be her mother!).
I did join her ‘toning class,’ and sadly, it is coming to an end.
The last six weeks have flown by.
I have had so much fun (although it was a little tough at times).
The class was led by Corley Holt, and I was expecting something a little different from here.
She is so patient with all of us.
She has given us valuable information that we can use for the rest of our lives.
She is full of inspiration and energy.
She exceeds her requirements and pours her heat and soul in the classes.
Our city is very fortunate to have a senior activity director such as Corley Holt.
Now I know that there is a least one good thing to look forward to when I become a senior citizen.
Good job, Corley! We love you!
