The Horseshoe Bend Generals volleyball team took a step forward in area standings, taking down Randolph County in region play during their most recent outing.
The Lady Generals defeated the Lady Tigers in straight sets.
Horseshoe Bend won by scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-9.
According to Horseshoe Bend volleyball coach Alison Franklin, it was a complete group effort, especially when it came to attacks at the net.
Allison Jones, Brooke Karr, Rachel Mann, Padan Smith, and Amber Hardnett had a combined total of 22 kills.
Sydney Meadows and Rachel Hall were also strong in the service game.
Meadows and Hall each had four aces.
Kyndal Grant also had a service ace.
“It was a great win because they played together as a team,” Franklin said.
