Graveside service for Mr. Oliver Frank Wilson Jr., 89, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Alexander City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1923 in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of West End Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson graduated from LSU in 1948 with a degree in Forestry and received a MBA while in Chicago. He later retired from the National Park Service and was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. Mr. Wilson relocated to Alexander City after Hurricane Katrina and enjoyed traveling and became an avid Auburn fan. He was well versed in the Bible and was a great witness for Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edra Beth Darnell Wilson and his parents.
