Albert B. Hardee

Albert B. Hardee, 69, of Jackson’s Gap, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Mr. Hardee was born October 14, 1943 in Lacoochee, Fl. To the late Alberta Hardee and Edna Belcher Hardee. Albert was also preceded in death by one daughter: Christy Jean Hardee and one brother: Eugene “Winnie” Hardee.
Mr. Hardee is survived by his wife of 51 years: Barbara “Bobbie” Hardee, one daughter: Peggy (Tony) Sims of Jackson’s Gap, four grandchildren: Marshall and Timothy Curtis of Grundy Co.TN., Steven (Kimmy) Tyson of Newsite and Nicole (James) Sims of Dadeville, two sisters: Liz (Lester) Laird and Diane (Robert) Hamm, one brother: Neal Hardee, two sisters-in-law: Beverly (Clyde) Mason of Jackson’s Gap, Jonette Goodrow of Florida and a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hardee was a wonderful Christian man and a preacher. He loved to play the guitar, singing and was an example to all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 20, at 6 P.M. at Oak Ridge Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Don Sides officiating.
Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers is in charge of arrangements.
