Mrs. Angelia Marlene Bramblett

Funeral service for Mrs. Angelia Marlene “Angie” Bramblett, 63, of New Site, will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 am at the New Site United Methodist Church. Rev. Paul Vick and Rev. Andy Kinman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bramblett passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 26, 1950 in Lanett, Alabama to Marlin Eugene Meigs and Modene McDaniel Graham. She was an active member of New Site United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. She worked as a clerk for many years at Russell Corp and at New Site Mfg. She also worked as a cashier at Foodland in New Site. She was very athletic and was a softball player and coach. Her grandchildren were her joy.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John A “Johnny” Bramblett of Alexander City; daughter, Tara Bramblett Taylor of Alexander City; son, Danny Bramblett (Lynn), of Daviston; grandchildren, Megan Bramblett, Brad Bramblett, Adam Taylor and Aden Taylor; great-grandchildren, Harley Long and Jady Long; and step-brother, Joel Graham (Betty Carol) of Alexander City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold Meigs.
