Camp Hill police arrest one for first-degree rape

Published 12:58pm Thursday, August 29, 2013

Camp Hill police joined forces with Dadeville Police Department to arrest a Camp Hill man for first-degree rape.
Emmanuel Marcele Heard, 25, was arrested at a Dadeville area business and charged with first-degree rape following a tip from the public, according to Camp Hill investigator Lt. Nathan White. White said the employer was very cooperative with law enforcement.
Heard cooperated with law enforcement as well, White said.

The arrest warrants stem from an alleged sexual assault that occurred at a Camp Hill residence the night of June 30. The victim, whose name was withheld by law enforcement, was an acquaintance, White said. She was over the age of 18, he added.
He said Camp Hill police have been working the investigation over the last four months. White thanked Dadeville Police for their assistance in apprehending the suspect.
