The Benjamin Russell High School Pride marching band has been putting in the hours to prepare for its debut show of the season, which is set for Aug. 30.  This year’s show is titled “Fantasy and Fiction,” and includes selections from composers Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, 2009),  Danny Elfman (Beetlejuice and Tales from the Crypt) and John Williams (Duel of the Fates from Phantom Menace, Yoda’s Theme from Empire Strikes Back, Kypton Fanfare from Superman and Nimbus from Harry Potter). | Austin Nelson
