Fifth annual golf tourney set for Aug. 2

The Benjamin Russell men’s and women’s golf teams are set for link action a little earlier than expected when the fifth annual BRHS golf tournament tees off on Aug. 2 at Lakewinds Golf Course.
Entry fee is $400 per team, with four players per team.
The all-day event is set to begin with a Shotgun Start at 1:15 p.m.
Registration and a luncheon will be held prior to the start of the action.
Numerous awards will be given out during the day.
There will be a first, second and third-place award for low-gross team score and low-net team score.
Also, an award will be given for “Closest to the Pin” on holes with Par 3’s, and whoever can hit the “Longest Drive” during the tournament will also be awarded.
In order to compete for the low-gross awards, teams must have a minimum of a 40 handicap.
All proceeds will go toward the BRHS men’s and women’s golf team, and checks must be made payable to “BRHS Golf Team.”
Fees must be returned to Benjamin Russell High School ATTN: Wes Tate, BRHS golf coach.
