Mr. Heflin McKay Browning

Funeral service for Mr. Heflin McKay Browning, 82, of Sylacauga, will be Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Trull will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hackneyville Cemetery with veteran honors provided by the Alexander City Veterans Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Browning passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Russell Medical Center.
He was born on July 17, 1930 in Clay County, Alabama to William “Jack” Livingston Browning and Emma Fannie Guthrie Browning.
He was a member of Marble City Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Jo Bailey Browning of Sylacauga; daughter, Melissa Gail Carmichael (John) of Port Richey, FL; son, Richard Dale Browning (Laurie) of Owensboro, KY; sister, Eva Pearl Hodnett of Alpine, AL; nieces, Kathy Hawkins of Alexander City and Karen Nash of Monroe, GA; nephew, Ken Turner of Montgomery; special friend, Connie Fleischmann of Owensboro, KY; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Garmon Browning and Steadman Browning.
