Mass registration to facilitate SunFest event sign-up

Published 7:43pm Wednesday, July 10, 2013

SunFest will include 30 or more events to appeal to a variety of ages and interests, and the chamber is trying to make it easier for people to register for the ones in which they’re interested.

“Many of the events that are going on during SunFest require either registration forms or liability waivers,” said Kim Dunn with the chamber.

To facilitate registration, the chamber will host a mass registration day July 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the chamber.

“They can pre-register for everything they want to do that week at one time,” Dunn said. “This will be just be an opportunity for people to come by and make it easy.”

Events that will be open for registration – and require pre-registration – will include the car show, Glow in the Dark Fun Run/5K, KidsFest Get Your Art On, KidsFest Sports Clinic, KidsFest Tumble Fun, the Miss SunFest Pageant, the motorcycle ride and the stand up paddleboard race demo.

People can also buy concert tickets and SunFest T-shirts during open registration Friday.
