Mr. Larry Jack Mann

Mr. Larry Jack Mann, 59, of Alexander City, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Russell Medical Center.  He was born on October 26, 1953 in Alexander City, Alabama to James Archie Mann and Dorothy Ann Forbus Mann.  He was a member of Comer Memorial Baptist Church.  Mr. Mann worked as an Electrician and in television repair.  He enjoyed playing the guitar, writing songs, fishing, repairing things, and being with his beloved friend and dog, Matt.  Mr. Mann was a loving caregiver for his mother for 12 years.  He loved all of his family greatly, especially his little niece Lydia.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Ann Forbus Mann of Alexander City; sister, Dianne M. McMeans of Alexander City; brothers, James A. Mann, Jr. (Betty) of Reno, NV and Jerry Frank Mann of Bowie, TX; nieces, Marjorie M. Caldwell and Sarah M. Lauten; nephew, Eric Mann; sister-in-law, Sandra B. Mann; and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Archie Mann; and brothers, Ronald Lee Mann and Kenneth Myron Mann.
A memorial service for Mr. Mann will be held at a later date, and the family requests no flowers.
