Funeral service for Mrs. Thelma Duane Truett, 89, of Alexander City, will be Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Flint Hill United Methodist Church.  Rev. Dee Dowdy will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Truett passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton.  She was born on September 23, 1923 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Herman Lafayette Litsey and Annice Audrey Duck Litsey.  She was an active member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church and worked as a Warper Tender for Russell Corp. for 45 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Joyce Causey (Guy) of Thorsby, AL; grandchildren, Christy Luanne Inman and Keri Dawn Kensington; great-grandchildren, Laura Inman, Katherine Inman, and Jered Cheatham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Odell Truett and her parents.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Flint Hill United Methodist Church, 2858 Flint Hill Road, Alexander City, AL 35010.
