A lack of offense against Goshen put Horseshoe Bend in jeopardy of an earlier-than-expected exit from the playoffs. Against the Luverne Lady Tigers, the Lady Generals’ offensive troubles persisted at the worst possible time.
After a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Luverne, Horseshoe Bend has been eliminated from the AHSAA softball playoffs.
The Lady Generals went 1-2 during the regionals.
After shaking off an early deficit to defeat Reeltown 9-2, Horseshoe Bend found themselves on the wrong end of a no-hitter during a 2-0 loss to Goshen.
The loss put the Lady Generals in the loser’s bracket, where they suffered their season-ending loss.
