Wreck injures two

Published 11:19am Thursday, May 9, 2013

A late afternoon two-car accident Wednesday at the intersection of Ala. Highway 63 and Airport Road clogged traffic while paramedics rushed to assist two injured on the scene. The Toyota Corolla pictured above was hit by a Toyota pick-up truck. The driver of the truck was uninjured, but two of the Corolla’s three occupants were transported by ambulance to Russell Medical Center. Responders on the scene could not release any names but said the two juvenile occupants of the car were among those injured and that one was transported via helicopter upon arriving at RMC.
