Stabilizing the hill

Above, Gary Ingram Grading and Paving works to install erosion control measures Tuesday on this hill adjacent to the Cherokee Road section of Alabama Highway 63. Crews worked to shape the hill Monday before applying a geofabric over the exposed earth. The crews installed an erosion control grid, which can be seen close-up on the left, before placing dirt back on the hill.
