Ms. Charlotte Ann McCain

Funeral service for Ms. Charlotte Ann McCain, 68, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Jennings will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Ms. McCain passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Russell Medical Center. She was born on August 29, 1944 in Alexander City, Alabama to William Burren McCain and Gladys Odell Spears McCain. Ms. McCain worked for Russell Corp in both Old and New Number One Mill.

She attended New Covenant Church in Dadeville and enjoyed knitting, visiting and talking with friends, watching cooking shows, and cooking, which she was so wonderful at. Ms. McCain loved her family dearly and enjoyed playing games and puzzles with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, James Christopher McCain (Brandy) of Alexander City; grandchildren, Hannah Jarrett, Clay Jarrett, Georgia McCain, Waylon McCain, and Sam McCain; brother, Burren McCain (Pat) of Alexander City; and special nephew, Tim Bunn (Pat) of Liberty City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gladys Mona Denney; and brother, Timothy McCain.
