Funeral services with military honors provided by the Alex. City Honor Guard for Rev. Robert Aundri Watts, age 83, of Kellyton, AL will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Alex. City Apostolic Church. He will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Rev. Hugh Twyman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 19, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Bass Funeral Home.

Rev. Watts passed away on April 17, 2013 at Russell Medical Center. He was born in Talladega County on February 17, 1930 to Fred Thurston Watts and Florence Hayes Watts. He was a member of the Alex. City Apostolic Church and had served in the ministry for 50 years. He also served his country in the U. S. Air Force having made the rank of Sgt.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joy Adcox Watts of Kellyton; four sons, Ricky Watts (Kathy) of Auburn, Roger Watts (Brenda) of Jackson’s Gap, Tony Watts (Susan) of Valley and James Yarbrough (Kristal) of Newsite; one daughter, Donna Michelle Mills (Jeremy) of Millbrook; one brother, Fred Thurston Watts of Kentucky; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred & Florence Watts; his first wife, Maggie Watts; two brothers, Kyle & John Watts and one sister, Virginia Hubbard.
