Funeral service for Mr. Volden “Lee” Hallman, 52, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home.  Rev. Roger Green will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. Hallman passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his residence.  He was born on May 30, 1960 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Volden Levi Hallman and Mary Horn Hallman.  Mr. Hallman worked as an auto mechanic and loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Thornton Hallman of Alexander City; daughter, Mary Kaitlyn Hallman of Alexander City; and cousins, Charlie McGuire of Alexander City, Wayne McWhorter of Jackson’s Gap, and Carl Thornton of Alexander City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
