Alexander City will be getting a visit from the Easter Bunny, courtesy of Lake Martin Home Health.

The organization will hold its third annual We Care Day from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. March 2 at the Walmart in Alexander City.

“We wanted to do something to say thank you to the community,” said Pam Tidwell, of Lake Martin Home Health. “We want to say thank you for everything they have done for us and try to give something back to them..”

Tidwell said the Easter Bunny will be on hand for the event to take photos with children, free of charge. Children will also have the opportunity to interact with live bunnies and chicks, as well as drawing for prize eggs worth gifts from the boy’s and girl’s tables full of toys.

“We’ll have gifts and food,” Tidwell said. “We plan to have a great time and invite everyone to join us.”

Tidwell said this year’s event is a special thank you to all of those who have helped the company grow.

“We opened our Alexander City office three years ago,” Tidwell said. “We’ve grown tremendously since we started. We want to say thank you everyone who has supported us. We love our community, and we love what we do.”
