Locher Colley, left, gets some help building a toolbox Monday.

Home Depot partnered with the 4–H program to provide toolbox building supplies and equipment for every fifth grade 4-H student at Radney Elementary School free of charge, and team members said the activity was designed to promote skills like sharing and working together.

“We try to give back and make an emotional connection to the community,” said Samantha Lewis, social support development supervisor.

A similar activity is available the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon at Home Depot.
