The Alexander City Outlook

President’s Day, or Washington’s birthday, falls on the third Monday of February each year – Feb. 18 for this year. A number of local businesses and offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Closings include:

- Tallapoosa County Courthouse and Alexander City Municipal Court

- New Site Town Hall

- Alexander City Post Office

- Aliant Bank

- Regions Bank

However, many offices and business will retain regular hours, including:

- Alexander City Schools

- Tallapoosa County Schools

- Wells Fargo Bank

- Alexander City City Hall

- Dadeville City Hall

- Jackson’s Gap Town Hall

- Adelia M. Russell and Mamie’s Place libraries

- Alexander City Chamber of Commerce

- Dadeville Public Library
