Accident sends one to hospital

A wreck on Tallapoosa Street Friday afternoon sent one to Russell Medical Center. According to ACPD, the driver of a Toyota Corolla was unable to stop in time and veered off the road in an effort to not hit a white Toyota Camry that was turning into a driveway. The Camry received minor damage to its rear left bumper. The Corolla came to rest in the ditch with major damage to the front of the vehicle.
