Outlook pageant keepsake available now

An Alexander City tradition has resurfaced – and it’s available at Tallapoosa Publishers’ Alexander City office and from local retailers.

For the first time in years, The Outlook has created a slick-cover calendar featuring all contestants from the 2013 Outlook Calendar Girl Pageant.

“We felt it was important to bring back the calendar to capture the essence of the original Calendar Girl pageants,” said Virginia Spears, general manager and managing editor. “We’re pleased with the way this calendar came out and look forward to seeing it displayed around our area.”

The calendar is free of charge, thanks to sponsorships from local advertisers.

“The overwhelming response we received from bringing back the calendar has been great,” said Tippy Hunter, TPI advertising director. “We appreciate the advertisers who understood the importance and jumped in to help, as well as the businesses who are pick-up locations, which makes it much easier to distribute free copies throughout the area. We’ve had a lot of positive feedback, so I think it’s safe to say the calendars are back for good.”

Copies of the calendar were distributed to Outlook subscribers earlier this week and will be countertopped at the businesses listed below.
