None injured in accident

No injuries were reported in an accident that occurred late Thursday afternoon.

Alexander City Police and Fire Departments responded to the intersection of Hwy. 63 and U.S. 280 around 4 p.m.

The two-vehicle accident occurred when a black Ford Fusion attempted to turn off of U.S. Highway 280 and onto Highway 63.

The Fusion was struck on the rear passenger quarter panel by a Toyota 4Runner. According to the driver of the 4Runner, she saw the Fusion attempting to cross but couldn’t stop in time.
