Funeral service for Mrs. Patty Olean Baker, 34, of Alexander City, will be Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home.  Rev. Charles Reaves and Bro. Stanley Davis will officiate.  Burial will follow in the New Pine Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Mrs. Baker passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side.  She was born on October 2, 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida to Clarence Walker and Angelic Newman Reaves.  She was a member of Servant’s Heart Church and enjoyed doing church work, taking care of the babies there, and singing.  Mrs. Baker also loved family gatherings, crocheting and knitting, and was a faithful Horseshoe Bend Generals fan.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Ronald Gene Baker of Alexander City; daughter, Courtney Isabel Baker of Alexander City; mother, Angelic Newman Reaves (Rev. Charles Reaves) of Alexander City; brothers, Sidney Eugene Walker (Crystal) of Frog Eye and Charley Reaves of Alexander City; special cousin, Leigh Cassiano; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Walker.
