Published 11:55am Thursday, January 31, 2013Clara Dean Reeves Davis, 77, of Dadeville, died Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at Lake Martin Community Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, January 26, 2012 at 10:00am at New Prospect Methodist Church. Rev. Dan Rhodes will officiate and burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Corbitt’s Funeral Home in Tuskegee. Mrs. Davis is survived by her children Nancy Davis (Ronald) McGhee, Bobby Wayne (Linda) Davis and Anita Davis Clakeley; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Davis; her parents Eugene and Henrietta Reeves; her brothers Earnest Eugene Reeves, Freeman Hardy Reeves, William “Bill” Reeves; her sister Gladys Inez Bush; and her son-in-law Mark Clakeley. Corbitt’s Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
