The connector road between Calhoun Street and Ala. Hwy. 63, which historically has been a one-way street, recently was changed to acccomodate two-way traffic.

Calhoun Street, which runs in front of Queen’s Attic, is still a one-way street.

The change allows those traveling on Hwy. 63 to turn and access Hamp Lyon Stadium and several other businesses without having to approach the locations from Bibb or Franklin Street.

Alexander City Police report that no accidents have occurred since the traffic flow change took effect.
