The memorial service for Mrs. Christine Sims, 86, of Lanett, Alabama, will be Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. Rev. Floyd Aikens will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Sims passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20 at her residence. She was born July 11, 1926.

Mrs. Sims was formerly of Shiloh. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist and was a homemaker.

She is survived by three children Barbara (Guy) Lankford of Lanett, Alabama; Geanette (David) Voss of New Site; Harold Simms of Lanett; special neice and nephew Kire and Barbara Pullum of Slocumb, Alabama; three grandchildren and three great grandchilren. She was preceded in death by her husband Denson Sims.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Jim Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette, Alabama.
