Community members commemorated Martin Luther King Jr. day with a parade Monday. City leaders, local churches and the Benjamin Russell High School band participated in the parade that traveled from Stephens Elementary to Carlisle Drugs. The parade was planned by the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Committee and ended with a prayer around the Stephens Elementary flagpole.
