- Patrick Craddock, new circuit clerk for Tallapoosa County, is sworn in by Judge Kim Taylor Friday at the Tallapoosa County courthouse. Friends, family and elected officials turned out to wish Craddock well. Randy Haynes, chairman of the Tallapoosa County democratic party, praised Craddock’s motivation to serve the public, even through a challenging campaign that ended in an automatic recount. Haynes called the victory a “milestone of stability and continuity” for the county, in addition to being a personal milestone for Craddock. | Alison James
