Body found on Fish Pond Road

Alexander City Police found the body of a 60-year-old man at the 1100 block of Fish Pond Road this morning.

It is believed that the victim went missing Monday, but police were not notified of his disappearance until this morning.

The body will be sent to the Alabama Department of Forensics for an autopsy.
